I know! What does playing jokes on people have to do with believing or not believing in a deity?Honestly, some people just believe whatever Bill O'Reilly tells them.
It's a joke, Adam!It comes from the scriptural proverb that says, "A fool says in his heart, there is no God."You don't have to think it's funny, but, seriously, that's all it is: a joke. (And isn't that fitting for April 1?)
Actually, you might not know the guy who said this to me, but I can assure you that he was NOT kidding. Now, I'm curious as to your actual identity, CalLady. Who might you be?
What does this have to do with Bill O'Reilly? Don't take cheap shots.
"What does this have to do with Bill O'Reilly?"Christina, I have one question for you. Have you ever watched The O'Reilly Factor? If you have, I think you'd agree that something like this sounds remarkably close to something that he'd "report" on. Mr. O'Reilly is one of the most disagreeable people in the "news" business today, and is, by all accounts and purposes, a bully. After seeing him harass so many people and refuse to admit when he's beaten, I feel that, in his case, there is no such thing as a cheap shot when it comes to Bill O'Reilly.
Yeah, to be perfectly honest, I haven't seen any episodes. You may be right, it may not be a cheap shot (I would have to see it to decide for myself), but I still think bringing him up was kind of random, lol. No offense intended or anything.

Okay, so the fellow who told you that wasn't joking. He doesn't know a joke when he hears one then. http://www.snopes.com/politics/religion/atheist.aspI've never NOT heard it as a joke.
